My artwork has been shown Nationally and Internationally. My work is based on my photography, outdoors, and fabric. A camera has been a part of my life from a very young age and now to combine it with my fiber work has created for some long walks and new adventures. On any given day nature can be beautiful animals, flowers, fallen trees, and or fruit. Water can be blue one day then mucky the next, fall, or winter giving a completely new look for the same area. Nature holds a complete and unending supply of color, texture, lines, and design allowing the viewer to observe and take in the never-ending beauty

My Scarves are done using flowers, leaves, and rusted metal. You first lay the fabric or scarves flat on the surface then lay the petals leaves down. You then roll the fabric up on a stick or fold upon itself and wrap tightly with string. The bundle is then placed in a roasting pan full of water with the temperature on high. Added to the water can be walnut, red cabbage, fresh goldenrod, and or natural dye powder. The real trick is learning what pieces from nature work the best, it has been a learning process. Rusted metal leaves the dark spots or helps create a darker effect.
